How to Treat Your Skin Type

Choosing the perfect skin care regime in your pursuit for glowing gorgeous skin just takes a little skin knowledge. She understands that a number of factors from genetics, to diet, and skin’s history can all affect ones skin type. Below you will find user friendly guidelines to help you identify the best products for your best skin possible.

Skin Type Guidelines

Skin Type: Normal

Traits: Balanced skin is not too oily or too dry. Skin naturally feels supple and smooth. Normal skin types typically don’t experience any severe sensitivity and barely have visible pores, along with an overall glowing complexion.

Product Solution:

  • Facial Wash: Antioxidant Moisturizing Cleanser, is a fortified soap-free cleanser, designed to gently cleanse and moisturize the skin without drying. This gentle formula contains a blend a potent blend of antioxidants.
  • Moisturizer: Super Antioxidant Potion, peps up the skin with potent antioxidants.
    • Treatments: Green Tea Exfoliator, gently exfoliates and renews skin.  Dr. Deborah Longwill Vitamin C Enhancer, helps brighten skin.
    • Sunscreen: Daily Replenishing Sunblock SPF 36, replenishing Sunblock SPF 36 is infused with botanicals to help prevent the breakdown of collagen and elastin fibers. Or you can try Colore Science PRO Mineral Powder Sun Protection SPF 30, a smart mineral makeup that helps prevent sunburns, providing superior sunburn protection.

Skin Type: Oily

Traits: T-Zone (nose, forehead and chin) feel especially oily, along with exposed enlarged pores, shiny and/or dull complexion, blackheads, pimples, or other blemishes. As the day progresses skin tends to become shiny and greasy.

Product Solution:

  • Facial Wash: Epionce Lytic Gel Cleanser, gently foaming wash, effectively removes dirt, oil, dead skin cells and makeup without unnecessarily disrupting the natural protective barrier. Or you can try Dr. Deborah Longwill’s Deep Pore Cleanser Formulated with a powerhouse blend of acne busting 2% salicylic acid and 2% glycolic acid.
  • Moisturizer: Epicuren Aloe Vera Calming gel,  this gentle gel is made from the purest whole leaf of the Aloe Vera plant, it contains an array of soothing ingredients that lightly hydrate while promoting cellular calming. Skin Type: Combination

Traits: Typically can be dry or normal in some area and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead and chin).  Combination skin can suffer from large pores, black heads, and shiny skin.
