Vampire Facial in Miami

Feeling spooky? You’re going to love this facial! The ‘Vampire Facial’ has been popular for a few years now, starting with that famous photo of Kim Kardashian West showing off a bloody face at her dermatologist’s office. 

Officially, the ‘Vampire Facial’ is called a platelet rich plasma (PRP) facial. This facial treatment is a non-surgical procedure where a doctor injects parts of the patient’s blood into various areas of the patient’s face to treat wrinkles and acne scars and give the patient a younger, rejuvenated appearance. 

Dermatologists often use a micro-needling device to puncture the skin and push the platelet-rich plasma into the dermis, the inner layer of skin beneath the epidermis. Our PRP facial in Miami can activate the stem cells that lie dormant in the skin to grow new, younger-looking skin.

However, your doctor may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. 

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief as your dermatologist will administer a few tiny injections of Botox directly into the muscles that cause those moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows. It takes approximately 10 minutes for the entire treatment, and then you’re good to go!
