The Long-Term Effects of Morpheus8: What to Expect with the New Microneedling Treatment

For many years, skin care treatments have been designed to correct the effects of aging and sun damage. Now, there’s a new way to address these issues: Morpheus8 microneedling. This treatment uses a small device with tiny needles to prick the skin, which triggers the body’s natural healing process and helps promote collagen production. This leads to smoother, younger-looking skin with fewer wrinkles and fewer acne scars.

Softens the Appearance of Wrinkles

Morpheus8 is an effective treatment for wrinkles. Wrinkles are caused by sun damage and aging but can also be caused by genetics. Morpheus8 helps reduce wrinkles by stimulating collagen production in the skin. Using Morpheus8 over time, your skin looks healthier with fewer signs of aging.

The exact mechanism behind how Morpheus8 works is not yet fully understood; however, we do know that this procedure causes tiny micro-injuries to the upper layer of your epidermis called stratum corneum (SC). This stimulates stem cells beneath SC to produce new collagen fibers within dermis tissue where they’re needed most–at points where fine lines are becoming more pronounced or deeper wrinkles have formed due to gravity pulling down on sagging facial features like jowls or bags under eyes over time.

Smooths Out the Skin’s Texture

Morpheus8 is a microneedling treatment that uses a roller with multiple needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. These injuries trigger an inflammatory response, which causes the production of new collagen and elastin, two key components that make up our skin’s structure.

The texture of your skin will be improved as it becomes smoother and softer, thanks to the increased production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid (a natural moisturizer). This will also lead to reduced fine lines around the eyes or mouth area due to increased hydration levels within those areas.*

Reduces the Appearance of Acne Scars

Acne scars are the result of inflamed pimples. The inflammation causes the skin to contract, resulting in a depression on the skin’s surface. For some people with acne, this can lead to deeper scarring lasting years after their last breakout.

Morpheus8 treatment causes new collagen production in the treated area of your face or body. Collagen gives elasticity and firmness to healthy tissue, so when it’s present at high levels (like during morpheus8), it fills out any depressed areas on your face or body by creating new tissue where there was once none–just like how Botox works!

Reduces Stretch Marks

Morpheus8 can reduce the appearance of stretch marks. As our skin loses elasticity, collagen production slows down. Stretch marks are caused by this loss of elasticity in the dermis (the middle layer of skin), causing it to become thinner than usual. When stretched too far, this thinned area will rip open like an overstretched rubber band, leaving a striated line across your body.

Morpheus8 can also help reduce the depth of stretch marks by stimulating collagen production in your dermis–this makes it possible for you to heal faster after experiencing trauma like pregnancy or weight gain/loss.

Increases Collagen Production in the Skin

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, making up about 30% of your skin. It is essential for healthy skin, hair, nails, and joints. Collagen production decreases with age, so it’s essential to keep it healthy!

Morpheus8 stimulates collagen production by improving blood flow through micro-needling, creating thousands of tiny punctures on your face or other parts of your body. These micro-punctures allow products like hyaluronic acid (HA) to penetrate deeper into tissues than they would be able to otherwise because they are not blocked by dead cells as they were before treatment. HA is known as “nature’s moisturizer” because it attracts water molecules from its surroundings like a magnet attracting iron filings (you can read more about how this works here).
